In Texas Hold'em your strategy is to obtain the best hand using any 5 of the 7 dealt cards, whether the combination is your 2 down cards and three table cards, one pocket card and four table cards, or all five-table cards. Any 5-card combination of seven cards is cool.
In Omaha you receive four cards, and you must use exactly two of the four cards to make your hand. This means that three of the board cards must be used.
There aren't table cards in Draw Poker. Players draw cards after first betting round. There are 2 betting rounds instead 4 in Texas and Omaha. In our game you may choose your favorite betting structure: Limit, Pot Limit or No Limit. In Limit Holdem amount that can be bet is set. These games will be called things like $1/$2 or $10/$20 games. The amount that can be bet pre-flop or on the flop is the first number. On the turn and river, the amount doubles. No Limit Texas Holdem is a game, where bets are grown very quickly and game tempo is much faster too. At any time a player may be forced to wager all of their chips in order to stay in a hand. The results are sometimes disastrous. No limit holdem offers more tools for a skilled player. Pot Limit Holdem is a cross between Limit Holdem and No Limit Holdem. In a pot limit game, players can raise the bet to as much as is in "the pot". If the inability to scare opponents out of the hand has you frustrated, but you are not quite ready to have your entire bankroll on the line at any given moment, perhaps pot limit holdem is for you.

RULES OF CARD GAME POKER

BASIC RULES

Poker is a card game in which players bet into a communal pot during the course of a hand. A poker hand consists of five cards. There are 52 cards in the poker pack. The player holding the best hand at the end of the betting wins the pot. During a current betting round, each remaining player in turn may take one of following actions: 1) Fold: a surrender of interest in the pot in response to another players's bet, accompanied by the loss of one's cards and previous bets; 2) Check: a bet of zero that doesn't forfeit interest in the pot bet; 3) Call: a bet equal to a preceding bet that maintains a player's interest in the pot; 4) Raise: a bet greater than preceding bets that all successive players must match or exceed or else forfeit all interest in the pot. The ranking of the poker cards: ace, king, queen, jack, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2. There is no ranking between the suits in original poker and in our game too. There are categories of hand. Any hand in a higher category beats any hand in a lower category. Between hands in the same category the rank of the cards decides which is better. Betting proceeds in a circle until each player has either called all bets or folded.

TEXAS AND OMAHA FEATURES

Texas hold'em: each player is dealt two pocket cards face down with five community cards dealt face up. Players try to obtain the best hand using any 5 of the 7 dealt cards. There are a total of four betting rounds in Texas Hold'em. First round is initiated after 2 dealt pocket cards. Next 3 cards (flop) then dealt face up to be used as cummunity cards followed by a round of bets. 4-th board card (turn) followed by one more round of bets. After 5-th board card (river) the betting resumes. Two players to the left of the dealer must post blind bets. In our game blind is a bet equal to the minimum bet. The winner is declared from the showdown. Basic rule of Omaha is two from the hand, three from the board. In Omaha players receive four cards. They must use two of the four cards to make own hand. So three of the board cards must be used. The rest game rules are identically to Texas Hold 'em.

POKER HAND RANKING

1 Straight Flush 2 Four of a kind 3 Full house 4 Flush 5 Straight 6 Three of a Kind 7 Two Pair 8 Pair 9 High Card A straight flush is the ultimate hand. Ranking between straights is determined by the value of the high card. Five cards of the same suit in sequence. 5-4-3-2-A is a straight flush, but its top card is the five. A royal flush is a straight flush that has a high card value of Ace. Four of a kind - Four cards of the same rank. Full house is a combination of three of a kind and a pair. When comparing full houses, the rank of the three cards determines which is higher. Flush is 5 cards of the same suit. When comparing two flushes, the highest card determines which is higher. The high card determines the winner. If the highest cards are equal then the second highest card is compared. Straight is a hand in which all of the cards are consecutive. A straight cannot wrap around (Q,K,A,2,3 isn't straight). When comparing straights, the one with the higher card is better. Three of a Kind - Any three cards with the same value. When comparing two threes of a kind the hand in which the 3 equal cards are of higher rank is better. Two Pair - two sets of two cards of equal value constitute a hand that has two pairs. The hand with the highest pair wins. If the higher pairs are equal, the lower pairs are compared. If both pairs are the same, the odd cards are compared. Pair - One pair of two equal value cards constitutes a pair. The hand with the higher pair is better. If the pairs are equal, compare the odd cards in turn. High Card - 5 cards which do not form any of the combinations. The 'High Card' with the better highest card wins. If the highest cards are equal next card are comparing in turn.

Don't play cash poor: as a general rule you should start with 40-50 times the table limit. The goal is to beat the other players, not have the highest hand. If everyone else folds, you take the pot. So if you're sure that opponents are weak, use this opportunity. Bluffing may help you to win and may bring about defeat. Use this trick carefully. If you're a beginner, use following rules: if you haven't got a Pair or better, or four cards to a Flush or Straight, Fold as soon as an opponent Open; have patience and don't let yourself go on tilt; don't get married to a hand; remember about the powerful advantage for your opponents of being able to act after you; play happy, not when you are tired, sad, pissed off, bored, etc. If you can't be fun to play with, don't play. The more players at the table, the greater the chance that one or more players has a Pair or a Flash - the more players at the table, the lower the relative value of the lesser ranked hands. Very important question: "What are your chances of completion on the draw?" There's an even chance that you won't better your opening hand.
